I got myself a vintage Omega watch from the 40’s. I’ve got to wind it every morning. It’s becoming a nice little ritual for me. Sit on the bed and wind a gorgeous watch and think about just slowing down.

Tourmaline.
Tourmaline is a piezoelectric material. Piezoelectrics generate a voltage when compressed along a perpendicular direction. Materials optimized for these properties are commonly used in sensors, scales, speakers, motors, and microscopes.

I don’t usually take video at concerts, the prime reason for this is cos I’m not very good at keeping still. At the 2nd show at Prospect Park, towards the end of the concert (during the encores), I decided to start videoing. Fortunately, just as an 8ft tall beach ball made it onto the stage and knocked Sufjan over. Great recovery from him :D
This is the only video I took and it’s not complete (only 50 seconds long), but I like it anyway :) Apologies for incompleteness and raindrops.
